Ran Dubin received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from Ben-Gurion University, Beer Sheva, Israel, all in communication systems engineering.
Before joining Ariel University, Ran was CEO and Co-founder of SNDBOX AI malware sandbox that OPSWAT acquired. Today, Ran is also the CTO of BUFFERZONE Security.
His research interests revolve around zero-trust cyber protection, malware disarms and reconstruction, encrypted network traffic detection, Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), bypassing AI, Natural Language Processing, media distribution, and AI trust enhancements. He is currently a faculty member at the Computer Science Department at Ariel University, Israel. In addition, Ran is a researcher at Ariel Cyber Innovation Center (ACIC).
